A Softer Blasting Method
Soda blasting uses sodium bicarbonate as the blast media. The particles break apart on contact, removing coatings and contamination without the aggressive cutting action of traditional sand blasting.
It can remove paint, soot, grease, oil, carbon, algae and other buildup from materials such as brick, concrete, glass, fiberglass, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and cast iron.
- Minimal surface disturbance
- No chemical solvents
- Non-sparking media
- Helps absorb odours
Common Applications
Soda blasting is especially useful where the surface must be cleaned without etching, warping or unnecessary material loss.
- Exterior masonry
- Exposed interior brick
- Fire and smoke cleanup
- Food-grade equipment
- Graffiti removal
